Utilizing the experience and successes of its founder, Ms. Virginia P. Gilchrist, in the Information Technology (IT) services arena, SDC was initiated on a full-time basis in 1990. This founding revealed a firm committed to providing quality products and exceptional customer services and support.

SDC is a woman-owned, HUB Zone certified, small disadvantaged business that continues to utilize commitment and best practices of our industry to solve customers problems.

SDC has remained true to this commitment as a personal responsibility in pursuing continuous process improvements in the provision of exceptional “high-end” information technology services to all of our customers. This sense of commitment, along with an excellent reputation has enhanced SDC’s presence in the information technology arena. SDC has manifested itself with each project it assumed, and proved the ability to perform as a prime or sub contractor.

Our experience has allowed us to expand the offered to our customers in the areas of engineering services, administrative support services, and electronic manufacturing and fabrication.

SDC has completed numerous government and private industry projects as a prime or sub contractor, always making quality the centerpiece of our commitment to each customer. SDC has competed in, and successfully completed the U. S. Small business Administration 8(a) program in 2001.
